Excel Is Not Inventory Control

Some businesses attempt to use spreadsheets to track what QuickBooks can’t. The more physical locations, warehouses and drop-shipments you use in your operation, the more complex inventory becomes, and the more spreadsheets you need to cross-reference. Now add requirements for inventory with Lot or Serial Numbers and/or Expiration Dates, and you have created a situation that even QuickBooks Enterprise Advanced Inventory can’t handle (it has no inventory expiration date tracking).  In these cases QStock maybe the answer you are looking for, especially if you want to be in total control of your inventory software…

Just starting out, spreadsheets can be a fantastic way to share inventory levels. When you have only a dozen items, a couple sales people, and when your warehouse is a spare office. As you scale, this limitation really can affect your perception to your customers. You need to be able to quote lead times with confidence and accuracy when you are competing against the Amazons of the world.

At QStock Inventory, our goal is to get the right product in your picker’s hands and to your end customer as quickly and accurately as possible.

Extending Inventory Limitations in QuickBooks

QuickBooks is a great program for the small to medium sized business market, but it is hard to be all things to all people for any solution.

QStock is a very QuickBooks user friendly way of expanding Inventory requirements, keeping most of the QuickBooks functions within QuickBooks, streamlining and improving inventory related activities such as order fulfillment and receiving, and maintaining a higher accuracy of inventory accountability.

QStock Inventory has found the limitations that warehouses and product based businesses were facing and jumped in to close that loop. With a fully featured Inventory Control and Barcoding system from a team of professionals with decades of warehousing experience, you can be sure you are implementing the Best Practices into your supply chain.
