Do you work with BigCommerce? The great news is so do we! QStock Inventory is a Warehouse Management System, or WMS, and has a deep real-time BigCommerce Integration with Intacct through a web services connection. Today we’ll be showing you how we take in Orders from BigCommerce, allocate and pick/pack/ship that order physically in the warehouse with barcode scanning and automatically create a sales invoice document in Intacct.
One of the things that QStock does is streamline the fulfillment process in your physical warehouse.
Here is a new order in BigCommerce with a few line items. We’ll add customer and shipping information to this order before completing it.
To fulfill the order into QStock, we are going to use a Wi-Fi enabled windows device with a barcode scanner like this one running QStock Mobile. As you can see, I have visibility to all of the open orders whether from Intacct or BigCommerce. The orders can be seen from the web and the handhelds. This allows me to see from the perspective of finance, warehouse management, and the people working on the warehouse floor in ways that make the most sense to each role.
Allocated orders show up to allow pickers to get the right items from the right places following the most efficient path. Shipping can be done using our direct integrations with FedEx and UPS or through multicarrier shipping options like ShippingEasy and Shipstation. We’ll use ShippingEasy here as an example of integrated shipping.
After shipping the order in QStock, we can see that order information with tracking number and status is sent back to BigCommerce which can kick off notification to your customers. Also in Intacct, a sales invoice shows the tracking number of shipment in the header of the sales invoice.
