What issues did you have with your last inventory management software that was causing you the most pain and had you looking for a new solution?
They didn’t take the time to customize the tool and make sure it was well implemented. They were like, “Hey, here’s the tool, just install it, you’re on your own.”
It really didn’t fit our needs, so we had to use the tools but adjust, adapt our business process to the way the tool was set up.
There was no integration with our ERP, which at the time was QuickBooks, so the fact that there was no integration had a negative impact, such as our warehouse team and our accounting team was always talking, trying to figure out what was happening in the warehouse to make sure things were in sync.
The bottom line was we had to streamline the process from the creation of the sales order all the way to shipping and we had to make it more efficient. Also, we had to improve interaction between our accounting and warehouse operations.
What was the biggest issues in operations that you wanted to solve?
The reason we chose QStock was because we felt out of the box, QStock had many of the features that fit our needs and most of our use cases.
We had to really push to customize the tool on demand, so that was also something that we liked about QStock.
What was the biggest return on investment with QStock Inventory for your operations?
Just running operations, simple things, like, cycle counts, shipping, picking and shipping, receiving items. It was a completely new world for them.
How does the rest of the warehouse feel about QStock vs the previous solution?
They are spending a lot less time talking to accounting, so now we are in a much better place where we have our ERP and inventory management system talking to each other.
They really like the tool, they are very excited. At first it was like the new toy, but the introduction was great and the training was very straight forward. Overall they are very satisfied.
Would you recommend QStock Inventory? If so, why?
The tool is very intuitive and simple to use on both the client and the handheld. You can pretty much do whatever you want. There are many ways you can customize it.
You guys (QStock) also has a great customer service and very responsive when we have technical issues.
